Every change is classified as a major enhancement, minor enhancement, or patch. Major enhancements change registered system behavior and require a new BIR filing. We tell you when that applies — before you upgrade, not after.

Classification Guide
Major

Changes registered system behavior. Requires a new BIR registration filing (new Annex A packet, new AC). Your accountant must co-sign the updated filing.

Minor

New feature or functional enhancement that does not change the system description on file with BIR. No new filing required. Accountant notification recommended.

Patch

Bug fix, security update, or performance improvement. No change to system behavior from a BIR registration standpoint.

Major
Initial Release — Full CAS/EIS Stack

First general availability release of BlackZero CAS. Includes the complete CAS registration packet generation, live EIS transmission pipeline, and all 7 BIR-mandated books of accounts. This is the initial registered system version — all subscribers will receive their AC under this system description.

Major Enhancement — BIR Filing Required

This is the initial system registration. Every new subscriber must submit a CAS registration packet (Annex A-1/A-2/A-3) to their RDO to receive an Acknowledgement Certificate before live EIS transmission can begin. BlackZero generates the packet.

EIS Retry Logic and Transmission Deadline Alerts

Improved reliability of the EIS transmission pipeline. Added proactive deadline alerts when queued invoices approach the 3-calendar-day transmission window. No change to registered system behavior — no new BIR filing required.
